Whether this is your first time at College of DuPage or you are a returning student, we offer the services and programs that address the educational and personal enrichment needs of busy adults. These include:

Adult Admissions and Outreach
Assists new, first-time adult COD students with navigating the admissions and enrollment process. 

Adult Fast Track
Earn a degree or certificate by attending class one evening or Saturday per week for eight weeks in this accelerated program specifically for adults.

Career Services
Offers a variety of resources to assist individuals with their short and long-term career goals including job search and internship assistance.

Online Courses 
An internet-based, self-paced alternative to traditional classes.

Continuing Education Adult Enrichment 
Learn about our free Adult Education Program (ABE, GED and ESL) as well as adult test preparation (GRE, GMAT and LSAT), tutoring, online Ed2Go programs, Music Academy lessons, Lifelong Learning courses, and many other non-credit adult enrichment classes and events.

Continuing Education Professional Development
Advance your career with certification programs in health care, business, truck driving, massage, law enforcement, and more, or take advantage of contract training for your organization.

Counseling and Advising
Assists current and former COD students with course selection and degree or certificate requirements.

Credit for Life Experience
Earn college credit through your career or life-related experience.

Student Life
A great way for returning students to get connected with our campus community. We provide excellent professional and personal development opportunities and help students get the most out of their College of DuPage experience!

Veterans Services
Receive assistance from our Veterans Services Specialists with processing education benefits like Post 9/11 GI Bill™, Chapters 30, 31, 35, 1606, 1607, as well as state benefits like IVG, ING, and MIA/POW.

    Adult-Learner Focused

    College of DuPage became a member of the coalition of Adult-Learner Focused Institution (ALFI) schools in 2014 as designated by The Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL). CAEL, a national nonprofit, works at all levels within the higher education, public, and private sectors offering specialized services to meet the unique needs of adult students.
