High school students can take advantage of many exciting programs at College of DuPage to jump start their success.
High School Courses for Credit
This summer, advance your high school career, enroll in that band or art class you love but just can't fit in your schedule, or master or make up a needed credit from the previous year. One- and two-semester courses in a variety of subjects are available at several locations.
We also offer online courses in selected subjects such as Algebra. Students will have directed lesson plans and access to a COD instructor during office hours. Mid-term and final exams will be administered at COD's Glen Ellyn campus. Students should check with their high school guidance counselor to assure credit will be granted for these courses.
Dual Credit
New this summer is our Dual Credit program. Dual Credit offers the opportunity to earn both college and high school credit for college-level work. You'll find courses such as Introduction to Education, Introduction to Sociology, Fundamentals of Photography and more. Call (639) 942-2208 for details.
Summer Enrichment Classes
Get extra help in math or English, improve your reading speed or prepare for a class you'll take in the fall by enrolling in our summer enrichment classes.
Test Prep
Prepare for the PSAT, ACT, SAT or Advanced Placement exams. Don't miss the chance to improve your national test scores.
Other COD Programs
High school students may also wish to investigate early admissions at COD and dual-credit academic courses available during the school year.
