Youth Camps

College of DuPage has fun-filled and challenging summer camp programs for children of all ages. These include: 

Summer Explorer Day Camps, Grades K-6

Explorer campers rotate through a variety of educational activities, including science, math, language, recreation and art. Other activities include brainteasers, board games, ping pong and movies. All academic activities are taught by certified instructors. Campers have the choice of attending weekly or daily.

Guitar Odyssey, Grades 7-9

Build your own electric guitar! Learn secrets behind amps and other accessories that bring your metallic masterpiece to life. Beginners and experienced rockers welcome. Guitar kits are included.

Teen X-treme Camp, Grades 7-9

Activities for X-treme campers may include game design programming, cooking and sewing, to name just a few. Camp runs Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. Friday activities are an additional fee and may include seminars or field trips.

Leadership Training Program, Ages 13-15

This program runs Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is designed to build confidence and have fun while learning the skills to become an effective leader. Under the supervision of a camp counselor, Leadership Training campers will learn decision making, problem solving and conflict resolution skills. LTs work closely with younger campers attending the Summer Explorer Day Camps and will have the opportunity to organize and lead age-appropriate activities. Friday activities are an additional fee and may include seminars or field trips.
