Student Email Policy

Starting Oct. 23, College of DuPage will send all official communications to you through your official COD email (dupage.edu). You will no longer be able to use a preferred email account. You do have the option to forward these communications to a personal email account if you wish.

Check out your COD email to get the message about:

  • Official COD communications
  • Financial aid communications
  • Petition to graduate
  • Transfer credit evaluation
  • Prerequisite proof Sensitive
  • FERPA-related communications
  • Transcript order Important messages from instructors

What is my College of DuPage email?

Your email address is your MyAccessid@dupage.edu that you created through myACCESS after you applied to College of DuPage. If you forgot your email address, go to myaccess.cod.edu and click on I’m new to myACCESS/reset my password tab. Follow the instructions.

How do I create a dupage.edu email?

Go to myACCESS. Select I’m new to myaccess/reset my password. Follow the steps. An email will be automatically created.

How do I access my dupage.edu email?

On the left side of all cod.edu pages, there is an EMAIL link. On the next page, click on “Email Log-in” on the right side of the page.

How do I change my password?

Go to myACCESS and click on I’m new to myACCESS/reset my password tab. Follow the instructions.

How do I set up email on my mobile device?

Go to the Guide to Student Email page. Follow the instructions.

How do I forward my COD email to my personal email account?

Go to the Guide to Student Email page. Follow the instructions.

Is my email password the same as my myACCESS password?

Yes.
