English Proficiency
Sections:
English Proficiency is required if enrolling in an Academic program. To be admitted into an Academic program, the student must either provide an iBT TOEFL with a score of 79 (or higher) or take the College of DuPage placement tests in:
- ESL Compass Reading
- ESL Compass Writing
- ESL Compass e-Write
- ESL Compass Listening
Placement into English as a Second Language (ESL) courses will be required if passing scores are not achieved.
A review of the online sample materials is recommended in order to determine the minimum proficiency required for Level 1 courses.
