Latino Ethnic Awareness Association

Latino Ethnic Awareness Association (LEAA) creates and promotes unity on-campus among all students not only Latino/Hispanic students. The group works hard to engage students by providing opportunities for growth and development. While academics are the student's number one priority, it is also important to build one's leadership and networking skills. We encourage and support students to attend conferences in order to expand their world-view. Giving back is also an important key concept for students to learn, this is done through various student activities and community service. It is imperative in this day and age for students to receive a comprehensive well-rounded education resulting in the motivation necessary to be more than was imagined one could achieve.

Apply for scholarship:

This scholarship is for undergraduate students who are residents of Illinois and of Latino ancestry. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled as full-time students during the fall term of 2015 or the spring term of 2016 at an accredited community college or four-year college or university in Illinois.
