Now located in the Open Campus Center (OCC), Room 159

The Aerobic Fitness Lab is designed for adults of all ages. Each participant receives a sound exercise program designed to develop strength, flexibility and endurance. To help accomplish this, the Aerobic Fitness Lab includes:

  • Two weight circuits: isotonic and omnikinetic
  • Rowing machines
  • Treadmills
  • Stationary bicycles
  • Ski machines
  • Stair climbers
  • Elliptical cross trainers
  • Entertainment system
  • Futrex 5000 assessments

An instructor is always present to assist Aerobic Fitness Lab users.
Wellness assessment is a critical step in a fitness program. High blood pressure, cardiac problems, obesity, stress and chronic fatigue are just a few of the problems that wellness assessment can identify.

To develop a specialized program that includes regular exercise, proper nutrition and stress management, the Health First exercise prescription evaluation is available at an additional cost.

A wide variety of physical education courses are offered each quarter, covering areas such as aquatics, aerobics and fitness, martial arts, weight training, and leisure activities such as golf and tennis. Check the Class Schedule for specific courses and times.

A changing room with a small number of lockers and bathroom facilities are available (showers are not available).

The Strength Complex is used for weight training classes and athletic team weight training only. The Fitness Lab includes strength elements along with its current equipment.
