A week long event for students and community members who are unemployed or underemployed. Jobseekers can meet with employers as well as attend workshops before the job fair to assist them in their search and brush up on their job search skills. Job seekers can also learn about educational opportunities at College of DuPage.
Employers will meet with potential employees, review resumes, interview candidates and have the potential to hire on the spot! Employers attending College of DuPage Career Expo must have open positions they are currently seeking to fill.
Why is the College of DuPage Career Fair Different?
Prior to the day of the Fair, participants will have the opportunity to attend free workshops that will prepare them to meet with employers. Workshops will include:
- LinkedIn for beginners
- LinkedIn advanced skills
- Interviewing skills
- Resume development and preparation
- Completing online job applications
- Hot jobs session-what industries are currently hiring
- Five easy steps to networking
Who Should Attend?
The COD Career Fair is open to all students and community. Are you:
- Currently unemployed
- Looking to change careers
- In a lesser job to maintain employment
- A recent graduate not yet employed in their chosen field
Then you should be at College of DuPage Career Fair!
All workshops and the Career Fair event are free to the public.
