Ladies re-open building with a victory

(4 Jan. 2014, Glen Ellyn) - COD started off the New Year with a home win beating Lake County 78-62. Donna Koerber led the scoring for COD with 27 points. Breanna Venson had 13 points for the chaparrals while Jackie Bartnicki and Jasmin Walker each added 10 points. The Chaparrals are now 9-7 on the season.

 


Lady Chaparrals win second straight

(14 Dec. 2013, Chicago) - COD traveled to Olive Harvey and left with a 94-64 victory. Donna Koerber had 22 points 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Sarah Lang had 21 points (3-6 in 3 pointers) and 9 assists. Breanna Venson put up 19 points 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Brandie McAlister had 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists while Jackie Bartnicki added 12 points (2-5 in 3 pointers) and 2 steals. The Chaparrals shot 53% from the field 42.9% in 3 pointers and 72% in free throws. With the win, COD moves their record to 8-6.

 


DuPage thumps Daley

(12 Dec. 2013, Chicago) - COD visited Daley College and left with a 78-53 victory. Donna Koerber led the way with 28 points 20 rebounds and 4 assists. Sarah Lang had 16 points (3-5 in 3 pointers) 6 rebounds and 9 assists while Brandie McAlister added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. The Chaparrals move their record to 7-6.

 


Ladies fall at Elmhurst

(9 Dec. 2013, Elmhurst) - COD traveled to Elmhurst College and lost 44-68. Donna Koerber was the only bright spot of the night scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. The Chaparrals only made 16 from the field and no 3 pointers on the night. COD is now 6-6 on the season.

 


Ladies edge Northwestern (club team)

(7 Dec. 2013, Lisle) - COD played host to Northwestern’s club team Saturday in Lisle. The chaparrals came away with a 72-68 victory.Donna Koerber had 30 points while Sarah lang had 17 points and Brandie McAlister added 13 points for the chaparrals. COD is now 6-5 on the season.

 


Lady Chaparrals fall at Malcolm X

(5 Dec. 2013, Chicago) - The chaparrals visited Malcolm X college Thursday night and lost 71-66. Donna Koerber led the scoring for COD with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Breanna Venson had 12 points and 10 rebounds while Jackie Bartnicki added 11 points and 6 rebounds for the chaparrals. COD is now 5-5 on the season and their next game is Saturday afternoon when they host Northwestern at the Walker Center in Lisle.

 


Ladies edge Moraine

(26 Nov. 2013, Palos Hills) - COD traveled south and came away with a 63-60 victory over Moraine Valley. Donna Koerber led the way for COD with 19 points 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Tashiana Walton had 18 points while Brandie McAlister had 13 points 6 rebounds and 5 assists while Breanna Venson added 13 points. As a team the Chaparrals only had 15 turnovers which helped in securing the victory. COD is now 5-4 on the season.

 


COD lose close one

(23 Nov. 2013, Lisle) - The Lady Chaparrals played host to Prairie State in an exciting game. Prairie State beat COD 68–66. Donna Koerber  had 24 points for COD and Tashiana Walton added 19 points for COD. The lady chaparrals are now 4–4 on the season and next travel to Moraine Valley Tuesday night, Nov. 26th.

 


Ladies thump Truman

(22 Nov. 2013, Chicago) - COD traveled to Truman Friday night and came away with the victory beating Truman 113–5. Tashiana Walton led the scoring for COD with 26 points 14 assists and 12 rebounds. Donna Koerber had 24 points 5 assists and 6 rebounds and Melissa Niggins added 17 points 1 assist and 3 rebounds. The chaparrals are now 4–3 on the season and next host Prairie State Saturday night at the Walker center.

 


Waubonsee edge Lady Chaparrals

(19 Nov. 2013, Sugar Grove) - COD lost to host Waubonsee 64–67. The chaparrals were 9/29 in the paint in the 1st half. They made a comeback in the second half going 12/18 in the paint but came up just a little short. Tashiana Walton led the scoring with 21 points and 4 assists. Donna Koerber had 20 points and 13 rebounds. Brandie McAlister had 11 points and 6 rebounds while Sarah Lang added 3 points and 10 rebounds with 5 assists. COD is now 3–3 on the season.


COD handle Morton

(16 Nov. 2013, Lisle) - The Lady Chaparrals got off to a fast start Saturday against Morton. COD dominated the entire game enroute to a 94–60 victory over Morton. Leading the way for COD was Tashiana Walton with 25 points. Sarah Lang added 19 points and Donna Koerber had 16 points to round out the scoring leaders for COD. The Lady Chaparrals are now 3-2 for the season and their next game is Tuesday night Nov. 19th when they travel to Waubonsee.


Ladies suffer first setback to Elgin

(12 Nov. 2013, Elgin) - COD traveled to Elgin and came up short losing 64–66. The Chaparrals were 24 of 39 from the line. Donna Koerber led the scoring for COD with 13 points. Breanna Venson had 12 points and Tashiana Walton added 11 points for the Chaparrals. COD falls to 2–1 on the season.


Lady Chapparals open season with win

(9 Nov. 2013, Des Plaines) - The Chaparrals traveled to Oakton and came away with a 65 – 46 victory. COD was down 24–25 at the half but out scored Oakton in the second half 41 to 21 to earn the victory. Donna Koerber led the scoring for COD with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Brandie McAlister and Melissa Niggins both had 12 points and Sarah Land added 10 points for the chaparrals.COD is now 2–0 on the season.


Lady Chapparals open season with win

(2 Nov. 2013, Lisle) - COD women’s basketball got off to a great start on Saturday with a 67 – 30 victory over McHenry County College. Leading the way for COD was Koeber with 23 points while Venson, McAlister and Niggins all added 12 points each to secure the victory. COD is now 1-0 and their next game is Saturday November 9th at Oakton.
