Satellite Dish Relocation Update Archive

Update (12/31/05)
Satellite dishes are scheduled to be relocated during the winter break.

Update (11/30/05)
ComEd completed the new electrical work required for power. The contractor has completed the installation of the communications shed and internal wiring and fiber optics. Satellites are scheduled to be relocated in early December.

Update (10/31/05)
All underground conduit and concrete slabs have been installed. Electrical work by ComEd is scheduled for the middle of November. Project completion is scheduled for December 2005.

Update (9/30/05)
Construction has now started with the installation of the new conduit duct bank. Concrete foundations for the satellite dishes are currently being installed. The construction work is on schedule with an anticipated November completion.

Update (8/31/05)
On July 14, the Board of Trustees awarded the contract for electrical construction to Grace Electrical Construction Corp. Construction is scheduled to begin at the end of August, with an anticipated completion by the end of November.

Update (5/31/05)
The construction work for this project is currently being re-bid. Bids will be received in June 2005.

Update (4/30/05)
Construction bids were recieved on April 20, 2005. Bids are being reviewed for a recommendation to the Board of Trustees on May 12.

Update (3/31/05)
Construction bids were due Monday, March 28. Construction is scheduled to begin in April 2005.

Construction documents are in the final review phase. The project will be proceeding for construction bids in March 2005.
