Homeland Security Education Center (HEC) Building Project

HEC building photo

To meet community and student demands for newer programs and to be at the forefront of ever-changing training regulations and increasing requirements for Criminal Justice, the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy (SLEA) and Fire Science/EMS training programs, the College of DuPage will construct a new 60,000 square-foot building to house the above mentioned programs as well as state-of-the-art classroom facilities and training labs. A feature element to this building will be an Immersive Training Lab, which will be utilized by all programs including the C.O.D. Police Department. This unique training lab will be a realistic environmental space with streets and building facades.
