By Mike McKissack
The Cosmetology program at College of DuPage will host information sessions for potential students at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, and at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Addison Center, 301 S. Swift Road, Door 14, in Addison.
During the sessions, which are free and open to the public, attendees can meet with faculty to discuss degree and certificate options, career choices, and job prospects. They also will receive information on admissions, financial aid, scholarships and services for adult learners.
The College of DuPage Cosmetology Program Salon is now open for the fall term. The salon provides hands-on experience to students while offering a full range of salon services to members of the community at a fraction of the cost of professional salons. Under the supervision of licensed instructors, students perform a full range of beauty services, including cuts, styling, color, manicures, pedicures, skin services and facial waxing.
