“This performance, and the previous Hispanic Heritage Month activities at the College, are a great way to introduce different cultural experiences and entertainment to students, staff and faculty,” said Saraliz Jimenez, Manager of COD’s Latino Outreach Center.
In addition, guests had the opportunity to participate in a mural decorating activity. The mural, designed my COD alumni Daniel Ponce, is a collaborative art project developed by the College’s Art program, Spanish Language program and the Latino Outreach Center. The official unveiling of the completed mural will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10 in the Student Services Atrium.
