Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail
Machu Picchu in Peru is regarded as one of the greatest creations of the Inca Empire and one of the seven wonders of the world. Join us as we take the scenic route through spectacular Andean mountain scenery, across ancient Inca sites, and alongside a variety of hummingbirds and flowers on a 5-day hike on the unforgettable Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. After two nights acclimating to the altitude in Cuzco, participants must be comfortable hiking up to 8 miles a day over steep and rugged terrain, climbing up to 4,200 feet a day at elevations up to 13,600 feet above sea level.
