The following list contains approximate fees for students who are accepted into the Dental Hygiene program at COD. These figures may change due to price increases.

Dental Hygiene Instrument Kit (for two years): $3,000.00

Uniforms: 275.00

PSB-HOAE Dental Hygiene Aptitude Exam: 30.00

Membership: Students for the American Dental Hygiene Association ($50 per year): 100.00

Dental Loupes: TBA

Tuition per credit hour*: 231.15

Lab Fees: 2,800.00

Dental Hygiene Board Review Course (Optional): 450.00

National Dental Hygiene Board Exam: 225.00

Regional Board Exam (NERB): TBA

State Licensure Application: 175.00

Medical Exam (COD Student Health Center): 25.00

Eye Exam (estimate): TBA

HBV Titer (Student Health Center): 30.00

HBV Immunization ($45 per three injections): 135.00

Mandatory Drug Testing ($25 per year): 50.00

Textbooks**     

*Effective summer 2011, tuition and fees for Practical Nursing, Associate Degree Nursing and Dental Hygiene required courses will increase to $231.15 per credit hour for in-district students. This rate applies only to required program courses for in-district students - all general education courses taken in relation to these programs will remain at the current in-district rate. Visit Tuition and Aid for the current tuition rate.
