Enrollment in the Surgical Technology (ST) program is by admission only. Space in the program is limited. Admission to College of DuPage does not guarantee acceptance in the ST program.
The Surgical Technology Certificate program is an intensive, one year (3 semester) curriculum with classes and clinical experiences scheduled Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m with some scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Students earn the A.A.S. degree by completing additional general education course work.
The ST program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
Following graduation, students are fully qualified for employment. They also may apply to sit for the national certification examination.
Refer to the College of DuPage Catalog that was in effect at the time of your original enrollment (unless you have not been enrolled for more than four consecutive quarters) for degree requirements, course descriptions and academic regulations.
