Student Spotlight: Daniel Olejarz

It was College of DuPage that helped Daniel Olejarz determine that manufacturing was the right career choice.
"The program at College of DuPage gave me the fundamentals of the manufacturing processes as well as hands-on experience working with manufacturing equipment," he explained. "By attending COD, I was able to determine if the manufacturing field was a career choice for me without committing myself to a four-year school."
After earning his Associate in Applied Science in Automated Manufacturing Systems at COD, Olejarz transferred to the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Technology and Management. He is now working toward his master's degree in Business Administration, which will result in futher professional and personal growth.
"Through a tuition assistance program from my employer, I was able to obtain my associate's and bachelor's degrees while, at the same time, gain experience working in the field, which allowed me to begin my career."
