A student and parent organization that focuses on SUCCESS!
Autismerica is a student organization for students on the autism spectrum to better educate themselves about COD and socialize with one another in a safe and supportive environment. Parents are also provided a separate meeting opportunity. Meetings for the Spring semester are held on the second Thursday of each month.
Thursday, Sept. 13, 7 p.m.
Student Services Center (SSC), Room 1200
In this evenings meeting we will continue our welcoming of new students and plan events for the semester.
Also, our own co-advisor Dr. Michael Duggan has a speaking engagement on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. at Glenbard South High School for the Glenbard Speaker Series in their auditorium, to discuss the topic of college success for young adults on the spectrum and his new book, “First Class Support for College Students on the Autism Spectrum”. The workshop is free!
We hope you’ll join us!
