If you are seeking a Bachelor’s degree through one of our 3 + 1 programs you will receive financial aid from College of DuPage only for the classes that are required for your Associate's Degree, per Federal policy.
If additional coursework beyond the Associate’s degree is required before you are accepted to a 3 + 1 program, you may be responsible for the cost of those classes or may be able to apply for financial aid through the 3 + 1 partner school by requesting a consortium agreement. You should contact the partner school’s financial aid office for details on the process. If a consortium agreement is processed with the partner school it is the student’s responsibly to setup a payment plan with COD.
Please Note: Not all schools are able to cover the additional classes.
Once you finish your Associate’s degree and begin the 3 + 1 program your financial aid is administered through the partner school even though you take the third year classes at COD. It is important to begin the financial aid process with the 3 + 1 partner school prior to registering for the third year classes.
