Sustainability (LEED)

LEED, or Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design, is a green building certification program that recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices. To receive LEED certification, building projects satisfy prerequisites and earn points to achieve different levels of certification. College of DuPage buildings have met the following certifications or are in process of certification: 

  • Health and Science Center (HSC) – Gold Certified
  • Technical Education Center (TEC) – Silver Certified
  • Robert J. Miller Homeland Security Education Center (HEC) – Certified
  • Construction and Maintenance Center (CMC) – Gold Certified
  • Seaton Computing Center (SCC) – Silver Certified
  • McAninch Arts Center (MAC) – Certified
  • Culinary and Hospitality Center (CHC) – Goal of Certified
  • Berg Instructional Center (BIC) and Student Services Center (SSC) – Goal of Certified 
  • Student Resource Center (SRC) – Goal of Silver
  • Physical Education Center (PEC) – Goal of Gold
  • Naperville Center – Goal of Certified
