    Dan Bindert, Community Service Grant
    Community service grant to provide support for the WDCB Radio Station.
  • DuPage County Stormwater Management
    Remic Ensweiler, Water Quality Improvement Program
    Funding to convert three turfgrass areas on campus to native vegetation to assist in stormwater drainage and reduce local pollutant loads.
  • Education Systems Center and Northern Illinois University
    April Zawlocki, STEP: Supported Technology Educator Pathway
    Collaboration with NIU, Indian Prairie School District, and the Illinois Tech Education Association to create a pathway for high school students to become Technology Education teachers.

    James Tumavich, Gene Haas Foundation Scholarships
    Funding to support students enrolled in CNC Technologies programs.

    Krystina LaSorsa, Illinois Cooperative Work Study (ICWS)
    Cooperative work-study program for approximately 20 students across 9 programs and majors.

    Funding to support a pilot regional initiative to rapidly expand Registered Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship programs in Illinois in sectors including Advanced Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Horticulture.

    Rita Haake, FY21 Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)
    State and Federal funding to support COD Business Development Center activities to meet government contracting business development needs of small businesses throughout District 502 and the northern Illinois/western collar county regions.

    Funding to assist Pell Grant recipients in obtaining a U.S. passport and facilitate international experiences as part of their post-secondary education.

    Beverly Carlson/Maureen McBeth, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
    Funding to provide support for the VITA program run by the Accounting Department, which helps community members receive free tax filing preparation services.

    To support five weeks of Teacher, Student, and Advanced Student summer camps focusing on cybersecurity skills development and career exploration.

    Five-year grant supporting seven four-year universities and College of DuPage to promote STEM research opportunities for underrepresented groups.

    James Tumavich, Gadget Girls Camp & Dream It, Built It Camp
    Support for two summer camps for middle school-aged girls and youth with hands on activities in Advanced Manufacturing.
  • Partnership for College Completion
    Roberto Valadez, Illinois Equity in Attainment Initiative/Catalyst Grant
    Supports the implementation of plans to promote equity through improved graduation outcomes for Black, Latinx, and low-income students at College of DuPage.
  • TalkAbroad
    Elizabeth Mares and Miglena Nikolova, TalkAbroad Curriculum Development Grant
    In-kind support to provide foreign language interaction services to facilitate the development of second language acquisition and improve communicative and intercultural competence.
  • U.S. Department of State/Northern Virginia Community College
    Kathleen Smid, FY21 Community College Initiative Program (CCIP) Student Exchange
    Provides opportunities for international students to develop leadership and professional skills, as well as English language proficiency, while studying at a community college in the United States.
  • U.S. Department of State/World Learning*
    Susan Kerby and Julia DiLiberti, Increase and Diversify Education Abroad for Students (IDEAS)
    Supports the College of DuPage Africa Initiative, which integrates service learning into a sustainable model for interdisciplinary study abroad while highlighting non-traditional study abroad disciplines. This grant features a partnership between COD and EDU Africa.

    American Rescue Plan (ARP) Stabilization Act
    Allocated funding from the ARP, via the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, to maintain programming and services during the pandemic.
  • Illinois Community College Board
    Governor’s Emergency Education Relief Fund (GEER I & II)
    Funding to support underrepresented, low-income, and/or first-generation students who have experienced barriers to enrollment and retention due to the pandemic.
  • Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity
    Small Business Development Center (SBDC) CARES Act Funding
    Funding to support SBDC at College of DuPage to assist regional small businesses cope with the pandemic economy.
  • Illinois Department of Human Services/Illinois Community College Board
    CURES Act Funding
    Supports the purchase of laptops and WiFi hotspots for adult education and literacy program students to use on loan to assist with remote learning.
  • U.S. Department of Education
    College of DuPage Pandemic Funding (HEERF I, II, & III) – Institutional Support
    Funding to support emergency needs experienced by College of DuPage due to COVID-19. Three rounds of funding have been received by COD as of June 30, 2021 as authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES), Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA), and American Rescue Plan (ARP).

    Funding to support emergency needs experienced by College of DuPage due to COVID-19.
