Major: Dance
When Hal Baas was a boy, he became interested in dance.
“The passion and intent that dance can form has always amazed me,” he said. “I wanted to dance the majority of my life but didn’t start until the summer going into my senior year.”
While still trying to figure out a career path, Baas came to College of DuPage, where he studied both dance and acting. He then transferred to Five Towns College in New York, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater.
“I and finding a balance between singing and dancing and I couldn’t be happier,” he said. “I would love to work on Broadway and a cruise would be great as well. I’ve also gained an interest in film, so that’s something I’ve been looking into. I’ve got a lot of goals and even more dreams, and I have no idea what’s going to happen after I graduate. But in all hoStandard Inner: YouTube Embed Videonesty, I’m ready to see where this career will take me.”
COD helped Baas prep for college auditions, and he encourages anyone who wants to study dance to enroll at COD.
