Fundraising Essentials
Effective fundraising is key to the success of every non-profit organization, and leading non-profits take a strategic approach to create sustainable, manageable campaigns and events. This class will review the basics of fundraising – including the 'Three Cs', types of fundraising, and identifying and cultivating donor prospects; explore the differences between philanthropy and sponsorship; discuss how to select and leverage Board members; examine current trends, such as digital (online) fundraising; and delve into managing and tracking fundraising efforts.

Effectively Communicating Your Mission
Communications and marketing are necessary for raising awareness about an organization and its mission. Effective communication promotes your mission and connect you with your constituents, funders and other stakeholders, has measurable outcomes and is sustainable. In this session, you will create a communication plan for your organization by: Identifying key stakeholders and their communication needs, creating key messages, choosing the most impactful communication channels/vehicles and determining measurable outcomes (ROI).
