Real Estate

The Real Estate curriculum at College of DuPage meets the needs of students who would like to begin a career in the real estate industry. The curriculum includes courses required by the State of Illinois that qualify students to take the following state license examinations:

  • Real Estate Broker
  • Real Estate Managing Broker 

The real estate courses may be taken either for credit or for non-credit as part of the Continuing Education Division.Whether taken for credit or non-credit, the courses will qualify the student for the Illinois Real Estate License Examinations.

Real Estate 1130 Broker Pre-License Topics (60 classroom hours)
This is a 60-hour required course to take the Illinois Real Estate Broker License Examination

Real Estate 1131 Broker Pre-License Applied Real Estate Principles-Interactive (15 classroom hours)
This is a 15-hour required course to take the Illinois Real Estate Broker's License Examination. Prerequisite: Real Estate 1130 with a grade of 75 percent or better.
