The College of DuPage CIT program has established several transfer agreements with area colleges. These agreements enable CIT students to complete their Associate’s degree at College of DuPage and then seamlessly transfer to a partner university where they can complete their bachelor’s degree in two years. The program currently has articulation agreements with Lewis University, Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), DePaul University and Northern Illinois University. Dr. Abdullah Faial, Professor and Chair of Management Information Systems and Ray Trygstad, Director of Information Technology, IIT School of Applied Technology, Illinois Institute of Technology are active members on the CIT Advisory Board.
College of DuPage and Lewis University offer CIT students a 3+1 Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. With the 3+1 program, students pay College of DuPage tuition rates for College of DuPage coursework and the 33 Lewis University credit hours are offered at a significantly reduced rate, making the goal of continuing their education a reality for more students. CIT students who have completed an Associate in Applied Science degree in CIT and have taken the necessary general education courses can enroll for the degree. All classes are held at the College of DuPage Glen Ellyn campus.
