The Long-Term Care Administration certificate program students for a variety of administrative and management positions in agencies providing long-term health care. The certificate is approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation as meeting the educational requirements of the state of Illinois Nursing Home Administrators Licensing and Disciplinary Act. The coursework also meets the requirements of Section 1310.40 "Approved Nursing Home Administration Courses." Upon successful completion of the certificate, students are eligible to take the Illinois Nursing Home Administrators Licensure Exam.
