Information Session - Summer 2021
The next Paralegal Studies information session is scheduled for Wednesday, July 28 at 6 p.m. Please contact Teresa Dietz if you are interested in attending and we will be sure to send you the Zoom link the morning of July 28.
Paralegals, working under the supervision of an attorney, help provide high-quality, cost-effective legal services to the public or private sector.
Although paralegals cannot provide legal services directly to the public, except as permitted by law, they are becoming an indispensable part of the legal team. Paralegals are engaged in an increasingly wide range of tasks, including assisting lawyers in civil and criminal trials and hearings, real estate closings, investigations, and corporate matters.
