College of DuPage is an important ally for students looking to make the most of their high school education. COD offers a range of programs that focus on the needs of high school students that include tutoring, test preparation, college credit courses, career development and much more.

College Credit

  • Dual Credit
    Earn high school and college credit for select courses taken at your high school.

  • Early Admissions 
    Students who have not yet reached the age of 18 or graduated from high school can take advantage of the Early Admissions program at COD. The Early Admissions program can help you get a jumpstart on your college education by enabling you to work on your general education credits even before you graduate.

Other Resources

  • High School Equivalency (GED/HSE)
    Our free HSE program can help prepare you to take and pass the GED or other high school equivalency exam. 

  • Center for Access and Accommodations
    For students with disabilities, we can provide a variety of services and access to accommodations including mobility assistance to preferential seating. Accommodations are determined on an individual basis.

  • Test Prep
    Improve PSAT, ACT and/or SAT scores with test preparation classes held throughout the year.

  • High School Credit Classes
    Whether you want to advance your high school career, enroll in a class you love, but can't fit in your schedule or master and make up a needed credit, Continuing Education is available. Offerings are held throughout the year with the largest selection offered in the summer. 

  • High School Enrichment
    Get extra help in math or English, improve your reading speed or prep for a class you'll take in the fall by enrolling in our high school enrichment classes. Most offerings take place over summer, but the spring and fall terms also provide additional options for many options for high school students.
