Paula Price, Founding Principal of Batir Architecture, said this of her experience working with Rita: “When I decided to pursue my WBE certificate around 2009 I first met Rita. At the time I didn’t know anything about being a state or federal contractor and very few people understood the vision that I had or believed I could do it. Rita was different. Rita always gave her all to any small request that we had. She worked with us on all facets of developing this side of my business from initial certification, to helping connect me to other women who were also pursuing this avenue of business, reading my (8)a application and advising, and reviewing our SF330’s and other RFP/Q submittals. She always made me believe it was possible. Her help and assistance was truly one of the most important and effective “tools” that helped me bring my business to the next level.”
