Husband and wife entrepreneurs Brian and Coleen Graham have been working with the
SBDC over the last 8 months for assistance in business expansion. The company named
Coleen's Breadstick's LLC is a three year company located in Villa Park, IL specializes
in the production of a variety of crunchy, seasoned breadsticks for sale in restaurants,
wine bars and boutiques, craft beer bars, specialty grocery stores, gourmet markets.
Coleen is Maitre Fromager (Cheese Master) and Brian also operates a 42 year old equipment
rental business.
Sales at the end of their 3rd year expects to exceed a substantial amount. The SBDC assisted on 3 fronts including 1) identifying production space so they can move operations from church kitchen to leased kitchen space in DuPage County 2) reviewing and sharpening the business and execution plan as cash infusion is expected in 2015-2016 and 3)assistance to identify IL-based contract manufacturers.
Owner Coleen Graham also attended and received a certificate from SBDC's Project CEO - Helping Women Create Great Companies to learn the skill set to scale a business.
The owners expressed that, "The SBDC has been extremely helpful in helping us move to the next level. We look forward to continuing our relationship with them and move to higher levels of success."
