Mobile Phone Investigations

Students will learn about the proper way to seize, preserve, and analyze Mobile Phones.  Mobile Forensic Tools such as Graykey, Cellebrite, and Axiom will be discussed.  Advertiser ID location information tracking will also be discussed along with Apple and Google records and geolocation data.  Obtaining historical data from mobile phones will be discussed with hands-on training on using ZetX TraX’s forensic mapping tool to view historical locations of the mobile devices.

This course is will a two-day class in person class (16 hours)

  • Mobile Phone Forensics
  • Using Cellebrite
  • Advertiser ID Geolocation Analysis
  • Location analysis of Wi-Fi and GPS location data from Apple and Google
  • Advanced Cold Case Investigations with Google Geofence data
