College of DuPage Kicks Off International Education Week With International Hall Dedication

College of DuPage President Dr. Brian Caputo emphasized the significance of diversity in education and the College’s commitment to good global citizenship during the recent dedication and reception of COD’s International Hall. View more photos.

College students, faculty and staff gathered to celebrate the College’s diverse global student population and their contributions to the College and the community. The event included a dance performance by international students from the Community College Initiative program. In addition, attendees enjoyed refreshments and music from COD student Xuechao Zhang, who played the guzheng, a traditional Chinese plucked zither.

International Education Week, an initiative of the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Education, celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange at colleges and universities nationwide.
