The College of DuPage Music program will present free musical performances and discussions Fridays this spring virtually via the McAninch Arts Center website.
Music Fridays @ Noon is a series of one-hour programs featuring free performances and presentations by COD students, faculty, alumni and guests.
The spring program kicks off Jan. 29 with a Music program student recital.
Future performances feature a celebration of Black History Month with COD Professor of Music Lee Kesselman and the COD Chamber Singers (Feb. 12); “The Chicago Connection: Music by Hometown Heroes,” with the Matt Shevitz Quartet (March 12); a Music program student recital (March 19); a faculty recital (March 26); a faculty spotlight with Andy Rozsa and a guest pianist (April 9); an alumni spotlight with singer, songwriter and educator Louise Kelly (April 16); faculty members Karol Sue Reddington and Marcia Lehe performing Manuel Infante’s “Danses Andalouses” for two pianos (April 23); and Music program student recitals (May 7 and 14).
