The College of DuPage Marketing and Communications Department earned top national honors at the 50th annual National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) conference, receiving both Gold and Silver Paragon Awards for outstanding work in community college marketing.
COD received the Gold Award in the Online Marketing Campaign category for its We See You digital marketing campaign. COD also earned the Silver Award in the Promotional Video – Long Form category for the debut episode of Trailblazers, which spotlighted Meteorology alumna Karissa Klos.
Presented at the recent national conference in New Orleans, the 2024 Paragon Awards celebrate excellence in design, strategy and communication at two-year institutions across the country.
“Our members are doing the important work of ensuring both prospective and current students know of the potentially life-changing opportunities available at their institutions,” said Virginia Moreland, NCMPR’s 2024-25 president and director of marketing and advertising at the Community College System of Tennessee. “The winning entries demonstrated the incredible creativity, commitment and resourcefulness of community college marketing professionals throughout our organization, and we are so proud to recognize them with the Paragon Awards.”
The 2024 Paragon Awards drew 1,570 entries from 205 colleges across the country and was judged by 59 professionals from the marketing and public relations industry.
