Description of Organization
DCM is an interactive, hands-on Children's Museum whose mission is to ignite the potential of all children to learn through hands-on exploration by integrating art, math and science.
Description of Service Learner Role
Museum Assistant
- Engage and play with children and their adults/families in the DCM exhibits; initiate interactions with children and their adults/families.
- Maintain a positive learning environment by resetting Museum exhibits.
- Provide excellent guest service by responding to guest questions and calling on a Guest Experience Facilitator as needed.
Organization Requirements
Completed volunteer application, background check and photo release form. Attend orientation and training.
