*Students are given the choice to volunteer at Schafer or North Elementary schools in Villa Park. 

Description of Organization

The Parkview Collective is a comprehensive academic intervention program designed to provide support for students in the areas of homework assistance, social and emotional learning, and physical fitness and mentoring. The after school program serves students at North and Schafer Elementary schools, as well as Jefferson Middle school in Villa Park. 

Description of Service Learner Role

 Help program participant's complete homework, facilitate small group activities/games, assist students during math interventions, lead small group life skills sessions and more

Organization Requirements

  • Complete Volunteer Application/fingerprinting
  • In person interview with After School Director
  • Training
