Willing to mentor a student-intern? Invested in workforce development? Do you want to learn about the new generation entering the workforce? Get the help you need, support a student's development, and strengthen your workforce in partnership with the Internship Program at College of DuPage.  Read more about how internships provide invaluable experience for students.

How to Post Internships

Employers are encouraged to post internship opportunities on Chaps Get Hired. All internship positions should be posted here and should follow the same process as posting permanent positions. Please review the Employer Internship Guide before posting internships.

Next Steps

Interested COD students will identify themselves as candidates and contact the employer directly, according to the instructions provided on Chaps Get Hired.  COD students who meet course prerequisites have the opportunity to enroll for academic credit, which creates a learning partnership involving faculty, employer and student. Other students pursue internships solely for the work experience and do not pursue academic credit.
