Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)

Illinois Freedom of Information Act

The Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) provides that all persons are entitled to full and complete information regarding the affairs of government and the official acts and policies of those who represent it. Any individual, corporation, partnership, firm or organization, acting individually or as a group, has the right to inspect certain public records.

All requests for records must be received during normal business hours (Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., excluding holidays). Requests submitted electronically after normal business hours will be considered received by the College on the next business day.

All requests for information must be made in written form. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the campus is closed to the general public. All FOIA requests should be submitted in electronic form or by fax.
