NASA's Supernova Sleuths

Become a Supernova Sleuth! In this activity, you will learn the basics of supernovae and you will study NASA images of supernova remnants in order to understand how they formed. Then, you will measure the supernova remnants and use your sleuthing powers to determine how old they are (how long ago each supernova explosion occurred).
