Professional Training Academies

In today's competitive job market, more individuals are seeking additional training and certifications to distinguish themselves from their peers. At the same time, businesses are realizing the value of certification: A better-trained employee can be more productive, deliver projects faster with limited downtime, require less external support, and help to improve customer satisfaction.

Those who succeed in certification are validated and empowered as highly capable professionals in their fields. For business decision makers, the the benefits of certification are even more tangible. Training and certification yield lower operating costs, better return on investment, and more efficient, credible teams. And that's something they're willing to pay for.

College of DuPage houses three areas of professional certification training:

  • The Cisco Networking Academy teaches students to design, build and maintain computer networks. These hands-on training courses qualify students to pursue a number of industry-standard certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP and CCNA Security.
  • The CompTIA Academy offers a wide variety of certification training programs designed to meet the needs of Information Technology educators and learning professionals, including A+, Network+, Security+, CTP+ and Project+.
  • The Microsoft Imaging Academy provides students with latest in Microsoft system technology skills for the digital world. These hands-on training courses qualify students to pursue a number of industry-standard Microsoft Certified certifications, such as MCSA: Windows 10 and MCSA: Windows Server 2012.
