Korean Transfer Pathway
The Korean Transfer Pathway, Associate in Arts represents a typical course schedule or sequence for a student planning to complete the Associate in Arts degree within two years, then transfer and major in a specific discipline.

- Easiest Asian Language
The Korean alphabet, Han-gul, is based upon the shapes of the different speech organs-tongue, tooth, lips and throat that are used when pronouncing a sound. Once you become familiar with the pronunciations, you should be able to read Korean words right away.
Known as the “Korean wave,” Korean entertainment and culture has become increasingly popular throughout the world. You will better understand Korean pop music, TV dramas and movies by taking the Korean course.

The first step to getting started in the Korean Languages program is to apply for admission.
Academic and Career Pathways give you a roadmap to achieving your career goals. Follow a pathway based on your degree that outlines which classes you need to take and when so you graduate on time or move on to the next phase in your career.
Students who complete courses in any of the Foreign Languages disciplines will:
- Communicate effectively in more than one language in order to function in a variety of situations and for multiple purposes
- Interact with cultural competence and understanding
- Connect with other disciplines and acquire information and diverse perspectives in order to use the language to function in academic and career-related situations
- Develop insight into the nature of language and culture in order to interact with cultural competence
- Communicate and interact with cultural competence in order to participate in multilingual communities at home and around the world
College of DuPage has several languages transfer agreements in place with four-year colleges and universities to save you time, money and make the transfer process easier.
