About The Transfer Program
This transfer path includes coursework at College of DuPage (COD) that will lead to an Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS) degree and prepare you for transfer to Northern Illinois University's (NIU) Bachelor of Science in Physical Education (B.S. Ed.) for K-12.
If you're passionate about helping K-12 students develop the skills, habits and attitudes necessary to promote lifelong health and wellness, check out our experiential and research-informed program in physical education. You'll connect current educational theories and research to real-world, contemporary experiences to make positive changes in the "the whole child," preparing yourself to impact the social and emotional development of children.

- Clinical experiences / student teaching opportunities in each semester of the program.

GPA Graduation Requirements/Course Grade Requirements/etc.- Must have a minimum grade of "C" or equivalent in all major required course work as
well as the courses used to
satisfy the NIU Foundational Studies writing and Quantitative Analysis requirements (ENG 103, ENG 203, MATH
101). - Minimum cumulative GPA to begin Internship Semester (Spring 4) course work and all
courses after is a 2.5.
Passing of all prerequisites is required prior to eligibility.
