The purpose of the Pipeline for the Advancement of the Healthcare Workforce Program (PATH) is to create, support and expand the opportunities of individuals in select health care programs.
The Illinois Community College Board has allocated funds through the PATH grant for select health science programs at COD. Students in an eligible program that apply for the PATH Grant may receive money to assist for essential program out-of-pocket costs.

PATH Grant Success Coaches
Student Success Coaches are available to students in programs that are under the PATH Grant to provide holistic support in navigating their educational experience. Coaches work with students to identify barriers they may face and make a realistic individualized success plan. Health Science programs can be challenging and can sometimes get overwhelming. Success Coaches can help students with goal setting, time management, study skills, test-taking strategies, self-advocacy, motivation and growth mindset.
