As your student begins their transition to College of DuPage, we want you to be a part of the process! Join us at the Family and Guest Session to discover resources and services at the College, learn how to best support your student, and get answers to the questions they may forget to ask.
Family and Guest sessions takes place on each day of New Student Orientation. Students and guests should only attend one day: August 6, 7 or 8. Limit one guest per student.
At the Welcome Session for Family and Guests, you'll learn about the COD Community. From campus resources to student wellness, you'll discover it here!
After the Welcome Session, you can join your student at workshops or sip on some coffee at the VIP Coffee Connect. This is an informal session where counselors, Orientation Leaders, and other college staff will be available to answer questions and speak about their Chaparral experience.
- Check-in: 8:15 a.m. You will check in alongside your student at the McAninch Arts Center Lobby.

- Prize Drawing and Free Lunch Social: 12:05 to 1:30 p.m. (with students)
