NSO Need to Know

New Student Orientation gives new Chaparrals the chance to interact with other students, discover the resources available on campus, and form connections that continue into the school year.

Yes, NSO is planned to be held in-person on COD's main campus in Glen Ellyn. Those who do not attend can access the event's livestream during or after the event.

For quick and easy check-in, bring your student ID or ID number.

There is no fee to attend NSO.

We encourage you to register for classes prior to attending, but it is not required. PLEASE NOTE: Advising and registration do not take place at NSO.

The E-NSO book is where you can find the NSO agenda and information about campus departments and resources. The book will become available online closer to Spring NSO.
