This joint venture launched in 2019 between Oloop Technology Solutions and Saratoga Medical Center. Nomic Health, as an United States SBA 8(a) Joint Venture, provides a full spectrum of Healthcare and Agile IT Services. Saratoga Medical Center is a woman and minority-owned small business that has been providing physicians, nurses, dental and ancillary personnel to the Air Force, Army and Navy since 1984.
Oloop Technology Solutions is the 8(a) Managing Venturer of Nomic Health. Oloop was founded in 2011 specializing in Agile IT Services, Healthcare Support, and Contingent Workforce Services. Oloop is an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified firm with offices in Aurora, IL and Atlanta, GA.
Oloop believes in connecting people with meaningful work for transformational change and makes its mission to empower individuals to contribute their potential to the betterment of others. Oloop has been fueling the success of their clients with tailored digital and human capital solutions and are experts in talent acquisition and managed services.
Oloop has been a client of the Illinois PTAC at College of DuPage since fall of 2015. Sai Gudivada initially approached the Illinois PTAC with questions specific to the US SBA 8(a) Business Development Program. As an existing business with a longer history of commercial relationships, Oloop’s efforts in submitting an 8(a) Business Development Program application were a bit more complex than the norm. Assisting a client to understand the US SBA 8(a) Business Development Program is important but working side by side with the client to work through the maze of documentation is vital. Amber Gardner and Rita Haake, Illinois PTAC advisors, worked diligently with Mr. Gudivada to ensure the application submitted was complete and thorough and would be successful. Oloop received their 8(a) designation in January 2017. Receiving the 8(a) Business Development Program designation does not equate to automatic success and Sai and his team have worked extensively to conduct market research to identify target federal agencies, conduct capabilities briefings and build strong relationships. The Illinois PTAC at College of DuPage utilized their database resources to create contracts listings of past procurements, expiring 8(a) contract information and competitor profiles to aid in the Oloop team efforts. Connecting Oloop to our bid matching services and offering ongoing support to explain notices and solicitations has been ongoing to build their federal contracting knowledge. Advisors have assisted in identifying Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) compliance and understanding as part of their federal contracting journey. The advisors at the Illinois PTAC at College of DuPage have committed approximately 158 advising sessions, totaling just under 100 hours as of June, 2020 to help Sai Gudivada build his growing business into federal contracting successfully.
Sai Gudivada quoted "The Illinois PTAC at College of DuPage has been instrumental to Oloop's growth and success in the Government contracting space. Rita Haake and her team have always been patient and trusted advisors to me and our team in navigating every facet of the GovCon space. We wouldn't be where we are today without their help and I am always amazed at the professionalism, knowledge, and diligence Rita and her team bring to the table. They truly care about their clients becoming successful and I recommend them highly without any reservations to any entrepreneur who is serious about growing their business."
As a part of the relationship building, the company looked at possibilities of teaming with other small businesses and that is how the Nomic Health Joint Venture was launched and the company has securely moved into federal health care support services. Recently, Nomic Health Joint Venture was awarded their first contract with the DoD providing Clinical Healthcare Support, IT Support and Administrative Support Services and looks forward to growing their business in the coming years.
