College Theater presents the Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, “Our Town” from April 10 to 19 in the Playhouse Theater at the McAninch Arts Center, 425 Fawell Blvd. Directed by Amelia Barrett, performances will take place at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and at 3 p.m. Sunday.
Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town” examines life in a small fictional town of Grover’s Corners in three acts and follows the relationship of George and Emily, a young couple in love. It is the story of their lives together intertwined with the town and its people. A timeless tale that gently reminds us about the importance of appreciating the life we have and people we share it with.
A pre-show discussion with the director and designers will take place at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 10. A post-show discussion with the director and actors will follow the performance on Friday, April 18.
Tickets are $14 for students and seniors and $16 for adults.
