Political Science Professor David Goldberg, Ph.D., is an expert in U.S. and international political systems and has developed course work in U.S. foreign policy. He is a regular election contributor to the Naperville Sun and has authored works in U.S. Relations with Latin America and the Caribbean and presented workshops on democracy in Latin America. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, his master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and his doctorate in Political Science from Northern Illinois University.
Before his tenure at COD, Goldberg taught international relations, Latin American politics and U.S. foreign policy for two years on a dissertation completion fellowship at Beloit College in southern Wisconsin. He also taught as an adjunct at Northern Illinois University, University of Wisconsin-Rock County, Waubonsee Community College and Illinois Central College while in graduate school.
