Career Opportunity ACHievement (COACH) Program

The COACH Program at College of DuPage is a two-year cohort program for adults with mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disabilities.  In addition to an academic focus on reading, writing, math, and computer literacy, COACH also promotes social skills, independence, and career exploration.

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.

Description of Service Learner Role

Service Learners who volunteer in the COACH Program can look forward to providing support to students in their academic classes and during the students' internship placements during the spring semester.

Organization Requirements

  1. Online application
  2. Background check (this can take up to 2 weeks; the COACH Program will pay for the background check)
  3. Interview
  4. Signing of a confidentiality agreement
  5. Orientation
