CTE Needs-based Textbook Support

Application closed for Spring 2021

The application window is now closed and will reopen in May for the Summer 2021 semester.

Information about CTE Needs-based Textbook Support

Textbook support is available to students enrolled in a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Associate of Applied Science Degree or Certificate program. Students must meet one of the qualifiers listed on the checklist and be enrolled in a minimum of one course. Students enrolled in 1-6 credits are eligible for $250, and students enrolled in 7 credits or more are eligible for $500. Students must be registered for classes through the withdrawal period or funds must be repaid. Funds will be deposited in the student's financial aid account and can only be used at the Follett College of DuPage Bookstore.

Financial support is awarded on a semester basis and any unused funds will be returned to the College of DuPage at the end of the semester. Students must complete a Bookstore Authorization Form to access funds. A link to the form can be found in the Financial Aid Self-Serve section of myACCESS once the student is approved. CTE Textbook Support can only be used during the standard financial aid window, no sooner than 2 weeks 10 calendar days before the start of the term and no later than 2 months after the start of the term.
